What is saturation and what does it have to do with my brows?

If you’ve ever had your brows Microbladed, shaded, tattooed or any cosmetic tattooing whatsoever, you may be wondering when a good time to get a touch up is. Color Boosts (the service you would book after you have had your brows done) is not something you need yearly and is really based on how saturated your brows are. See our previous blog post that goes in depth about Color Boosts HERE.

This post is mainly about saturation. So what is saturation you ask?

Saturation refers to the amount of color/pigment in your cosmetic tattoo. ⁣We have this conversation A LOT. Don’t assume that you need a touch up because it’s been a year since your last session! Timing your touch up depends on the depth of color, not the amount of time. ⁣

We hope this post helps you determine if you need a touch-up or not. If you are unsure, contact us or book a consultation!

xoxo,

jen
